The firm, which was founded in 2007 by Gil Morales, formerly Chief Market Strategist and an internal portfolio manager for William O'Neil + Company, Inc., manages the assets of individuals, family offices, trusts, and pensions. Gil Morales

Mr. Morales began his investment career in 1991 as a stockbroker in the Beverly Hills branch of Merrill Lynch. In 1994 he joined PaineWebber, Inc. where he quickly achieved Chairman's Club status as a top producer. In 1997, William O'Neil personally recruited Mr. Morales to join William O'Neil + Company, Inc. where he spent the next eight years as a Vice-President, internal Portfolio Manager responsible for managing a portion of the firm's proprietary assets, and Manager of the O'Neil Institutional Services group responsible for advising over 500 of the largest and most successful institutional investors in the world, including mutual fund, pension fund, and hedge fund clients. Mr. Morales also co-authored with William J. O'Neil a book on short-selling, "How to Make Money Selling Stocks Short," published by John Wiley & Sons in 2004.

In the period from January 1, 1998 to December 31, 2005, Mr. Morales achieved in his personal account a total return of 10,904.25% as audited by Rothstein Kass & Company, a hedge fund auditing firm. Applying a standard hedge fund 2%/20% fee structure to this return would yield a pro forma return of 5,572.04%, net of fees. Mr. Morales received his B.A. in economics from Stanford University.

Kevin N. Marder

From 1990 to 1996, Mr. Marder was affiliated with Capital Management Sciences, where he developed quantitative risk control software for use by institutional fixed-income portfolio managers. A pioneer in real-time market commentary on the Internet, Mr. Marder in 1995 began publishing content to the Web. In early 1996, Mr. Marder co-founded DBC Online, which became known as CBS MarketWatch, the most popular financial Internet site, his market comments broadcast over the CBS Radio Network several times daily. As markets editor for CBS MarketWatch, his Marder On The Market column was well-known in the investment community. In 1999, Online Investor magazine named Marder On The Market one of the Web's Top 25 Sources for Great Stock Ideas. In 2000, Forbes magazine mentioned Marder On The Market in its Best of the Web issue, calling it "smart commentary." In addition, Dow Jones Investment Advisor magazine termed Mr. Marder "a sophisticated analyst." During this period, Mr. Marder was the chief stock market columnist for the Internet sites of CBS News, America Online, USA Today, Yahoo, Excite, Quicken, CompuServe, the International Herald Tribune, the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, and the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune, among others.

In 2000, his registered investment advisory firm, Marder Investment Advisors Corp., began managing the investment accounts of wealthy individuals, trusts, and pensions. From 2002-2005, Mr. Marder served as the chief market strategist at Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management, the New York investment bank and brokerage firm founded in 1876, where he provided the firm's board of directors and institutional clients with advice and guidance in addition to his duties at Marder Investment Advisors. Mr. Marder has managed hedge funds since 2001, and currently manages a fund of funds.

Mr. Marder has been quoted by media sources such as the New York Times, Forbes, Barron's, the Financial Times, Institutional Investor, Los Angeles Times, CBS Radio Network, Chicago Tribune, Dallas Morning News, TheStreet.com, and KNX 1070 News Radio. He is a speaker at industry conferences such as the Los Angeles Times Investment Strategies Conference, the Las Vegas Money Show, and the International Trading Expo, where he addresses audiences of between 500 and 2500. Mr. Marder, who is a contributing author of the Prentice-Hall book "Computerized Trading," received his M.B.A. with honors in Investments from the University of Southern California. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the fraternity that honors academic achievement in the study of business.

William Griffith

Mr. Griffith's investment career began in 1994 at Jack White & Company, a San Diego brokerage firm that was subsequently acquired by TD Waterhouse. His responsibilities included trading equities, futures, options, and fixed income securities, in addition to maintaining the fixed income principal account. In 1997, Mr. Griffith became affiliated with Davis Selected Advisers in Santa Fe, New Mexico as an Institutional Equity Trader responsible for trading over $40 billion in firm assets. At Davis, he supervised the Private Client and WRAP trading staff, and performed modeling for mutual funds and private accounts.

In 2000, Mr. Griffith joined RCM Capital Management in San Francisco as a Senior Equity Trader responsible for trading over $25 billion of firm assets. At RCM, he also performed equity research and advised the Large-Cap Portfolio Management team. In 2006, Mr. Griffith was employed by Sierra Capital Investors as Operations Manager. Mr. Griffith is an affiliate member of the Market Technicians Association and a CMT Level 3 candidate. He is a member of the San Francisco Security Traders Association and the Technical Securities Analysts Association, San Francisco. Mr. Griffith received his B.A. from the University of Hawaii.
